Baltimore-Born, Virginia-Based, & Perpetually Particular About the Details
I've been a designer my whole life, even before I knew that's what it was called. Growing up, there was never really a question about what career I would find myself in. I was the kid who cared too much about how things looked, felt, and fit together. Turns out being particular is actually a professional asset.
What I did not realize until much later was that my instinct for design was always driven by something deeper than aesthetics — a genuine curiosity about people. How they think, what they need, what they believe, and why. That natural pull toward anthropology — toward understanding the human story behind every project — is what shapes how I approach my work. Before I touch a typeface or pick a color, I am already asking: who is this for, what do they care about, and what do I want to make them feel? That kind of examination — looking at a project from every possible human angle before committing to a creative direction — is how I find the right narrative. And narrative is everything. The best design does not just look right. It is something you can feel.
What I Do
(And Why I Do it)
I'm a multidisciplinary graphic designer and brand strategist with 10 years of experience building brands, websites, and visual systems that actually mean something. I work across branding, web design, print, and emerging AI-powered workflows — and I bring the same level of intention and care to all of it.
But the best part? That moment when a client shares their life story, lets me into their dream, their business, their vision — and trusts me to turn their story into something real. When you can tell you hit it out of the park, it's a little bit like magic. And I think the world could always use a little more magic.
When I'm Not Designing
When I'm not designing for clients, I'm designing my house — one room at a time, with the same obsessive attention to detail that probably surprises no one. It takes ages. It's worth it. The right throw pillow matters more than most people will ever understand.
My Dinner Party Go-To Story
During my short, yet dramatic time as a Cast Member at Walt Disney World, a guest who insisted his own stroller had been stolen reached his breaking point and hurled one in my direction. It bounced off me with the energy of a man who had, in fact, been walking around a theme park all day in ninety-degree heat. That stroller hit the ground at approximately the same moment as my jaw. I finished my stroller shift, moved to the carousel, and operated it without a single hitch while he continued shouting in my direction. I watched with a well-earned smirk as his wife arrived and retrieved their not stolen stroller in approximately four seconds. I like to consider this relevant leadership experience.
Thoughts On AI & Staying Current
I've always been drawn to what's next — which is why integrating AI into my creative process felt less like a pivot and more like a natural evolution. I use AI tools intentionally: to sharpen efficiency, expand what's possible, and help clients stay discoverable in a search landscape that's changing faster than most people realize.
Strategy, storytelling, and human connection still do the heavy lifting. AI just helps me carry more.
Let's Make an Impact that Lasts
If you've got a brand, a vision, or a project that needs someone who will care about it as much as you do — I'd love to be a part of it. Reach out and let's talk.
